Lagoon Tour (Green Route)

This is one of Jesolo’s most evocative and scenic routes, to discover the beauty of the Lagoon. It starts in the heart of Jesolo, following the Venetian coast road as far as Cavallino. Here, we embark to cross the northern Lagoon to Lio Maggiore. The route is surrounded by unique natural landscapes: small islands, salt marshes, fishing valleys full of mullet and eels, colonies of herons, pink flamingos, egrets and mallards. There are also plenty of opportunities to stop in typical taverns, where you can taste excellent local products. Continue cycling through the countryside along ancient Caligo Canal as far as the eponymous mediaeval excise tower. From here, we return to Jesolo following the embankment. Those who want to extend the route, can continue from Cavallino by bike to Lio Piccolo, and from there, take the bike+boat crossing to Lio Maggiore.
